The elevation is kept simple and minimalist. The design is carefully planned to overcome the challenge of construction in two phases. Initially, only the ground floor will be constructed, meeting immediate needs. In the future, the remaining floors can be added seamlessly without disturbing the overall aesthetic or structural integrity.
A filler slab is incorporated at the ground floor level to optimize material usage by replacing unnecessary concrete with lightweight fillers. This approach reduces structural dead load, lowers construction cost, and enhances thermal comfort by minimizing heat gain, resulting in cooler and more energy-efficient interiors.
The ground floor is planned mainly for the parents, keeping daily living easy and accessible. It includes two comfortable bedrooms along with one bedroom-cum-lounge. This multi-purpose space can function as a lounge during regular use and can be converted into a private bedroom whenever required by closing the partition.
The second floor includes two bedrooms, ensuring privacy and comfort. A large drawing area forms the social core of this floor, separate entertainment area for leisure activities, study area offering a quiet and focused environment for work or learning.
The terrace floor is designed as a semi-private social zone. It includes one large drawing area that opens up to an open terrace, making it ideal for family gatherings, celebrations, and parties. This space allows the family to come together while enjoying openness and fresh air.
All floors are visually and spatially connected through OTS (Open-to-Sky) cutouts provided on two sides of the building. These OTS spaces enhance natural ventilation and daylight penetration, creating bright, airy interiors and reducing dependence on artificial lighting throughout the house.
